May. 8th, 2008 06:54 pmThe problem with having pretty much finished an essay that you don't like is that all the tension leaves you and you just can't be bothered to edit the stupid thing. When you've got two of them, it's twice as bad.
So yeah, two essays to polish up, but no enthusiasm, one bad wrist, aching neck muscles and the fact that it's too hot to have my hair like usual so I had to put it up up and now I look like a girl... yeah, that last one's just plain weird.
I still haven't managed to get round to watching last week's Spn because that's a prize for after the essays are finished. Not that that stopped me from staying up until five in the morning two nights running watching clips of Veronica Mars. I have decided that I love the ending of season 3... mainly because of Logan, which isn't really a surprise, and I have to start watching Moonlight because Jason Dohring is in it. That doesn't seem such a good idea, but one of the reasons I started watching Spn was because of Jensen (that and the whole ghost hunter thing, and the name, and the fact they plaed killing moon on the teaser [the only good thing about the teaser]).
I've started babbling again have I. It feel so good to be able to write completely unstructured nonsense and not care about every tiny little comma for once. I swear, next year I am not going to leave it until a week before the deadline to start on my summatives...
...who am I kidding. If I'm lucky I'll get round to my dissertation two weeks before it's due.
I never really thought of myself as self-destructive before. Hmmm.
I ordered Veronica Mars DVDs on the 20th of April, they were supposed to be here by Monday... they still have not arrived. Where are they? I have season 3 but I want season 1 dammit... it has my favourite episodes. (Before you ask, yes some of them don't have my VMOTP in. So there :P)
Anyway, exams next week, which should be fun. I need to get the books out of the library because (stupidly) I've decided to do exam number one on books that I don't actually own. Hope there aren't too many other people doing that, otherwise it's a trip down to waterstones and a few more months before I can buy the rest of Buffy on DVD. *sigh*
I have ideas for SpN fic, a folder full of half written VM fic and a desire to sleep for about a week. Please tell me this is not what reality is always like! If it is I'm so going back in my happy fun bubble and never coming out - ever.
