Jun. 6th, 2008 02:53 pmOkay, before watching a new series one should probably check whether or not there's going to be a season 2. Have I mentioned recently how much I loathe American TV companies?
If you like a show it will be cancelled.
I went and watched Moonlight without checking. I am officially an idiot. But Jason Dohring has definitely made it onto my list of favourite actors. Josef is insanely cool. Admittedly, they try to ruin him with an angsty backstory and (later) with Simone... but he keeps managing to save himself as a character.
But now he no longer exists... CBS sucks... and so does the CW. At least Moonlight made it longer than Firefly. Though I can't help but blame the writer's strike a little. New shows suffered the most because they didn't get a chance to develope at the intended rate, but c'est la vie. At least Supernatural's still going, despite the CW, so my schedule isn't going to be completely destroyed next season.
